The Origin of a Standard
Leaflins was born from a moment of discovery. A single cup of Darjeeling black tea, brewed simply with no milk, no sugar, no spices, that tasted entirely unlike anything a lifelong chai drinker had ever expected tea to be. Clear. Golden. Our Tulsi Cinnamon blend brings together tulsi, spearmint, ginger, and cinnamon. These four have been used together in Indian tradition for as long as anyone can trace. Tulsi, known across South Asia as the sacred herb, has been a part of daily wellness rituals in Indian households for centuries. Spearmint, ginger, and cinnamon have sat alongside it in traditional preparations across countless cultures and generations.
Our Hibiscus Cinnamon blend draws from hibiscus, amla, fenugreek, and arjuna bark. Each of these has a deep and well-documented place in Ayurvedic practice. Hibiscus is one of the most widely used botanicals across traditional medicine systems worldwide. Amla, one of the most revered fruits in Indian tradition, has been valued for its natural properties for over a thousand years.
Our Turmeric Ginger blend pairs turmeric and ashwagandha with ginger. Turmeric has been a cornerstone of Indian cooking and traditional practice for millennia. Ashwagandha is one of the most significant herbs in the Ayurvedic canon. Ginger needs no introduction in any culture. Our Kashmiri Saffron Kahwa is the oldest blend in our range. Originating in the Kashmir Valley, Kahwa is a ceremonial green tea preparation that has been served at gatherings, celebrations, and daily rituals across Kashmir for centuries. It carries whole saffron threads, rose petals, and cloves alongside Himalayan green tea. Every ingredient in it has its own long history.
